The Trousdale County School System is composed of three schools: Trousdale County High School, Jim B. Satterfield Middle School, and Trousdale County Elementary School. Also included in the system are a Pre-Kindergarten and an Adult Education component.

| Ms. Oldham graduated from Smith County High School in 1964. She attended Cumberland University from 1964-1966 and continued her education from 1971 to 1973 at Austin Peay University where she graduated in 1973 with a B.S. Her first three years of teaching were in Smith County where she taught 3rd and 4th grades at Pleasant Shade Elementary and 6th grade at Carthage Elementary. She moved to Trousdale County in 1975 where she began teaching at Trousdale Elementary in 6th grade. Ms. Oldham contuinued her education at Tennessee Tech University where she graduated with an Education Specialist degree. During her 33 years in Trousdale County, she has been a teacher, assistant principal, principal, Supervisor of Instruction, and was the first appointed Director of Schools in 2000. Ms Oldham has 35 years of experience in education. "My goal for all children in Trousdale County is that they receive a quality education from dedicated, certified, and highly qualified teachers." |

All students will be provided with a safe and orderly environment in order to stimulate academic progress. We will provide educational opportunities for students to meet or exceed state benchmarks resulting in graduation from high school and ensuring success in the workplace. The Trousdale County School System will engage in appropriate communication and collaboration among all stakeholders - community, businesses, school staff, students, and parents - to ensure that the needs of all are being met.
All graduates will develop an appreciation for life-long learning and will be able to compete in a superior manner in any challenge they undertake.
