Welcome to the 2018-19 school year.  Our commitment at Trousdale County Elementary School is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers,and inspired learners.  High academic standards and expectations for each student in a culture of constant improvement sets the foundation for us to accelerate and graduate all students for the careers of tomorrow. 

At Trousdale County Elementary School, our successful students make positive choices while contributing to the local and global community. Our successful students use critical and creative thinking skills when solving problems and exploring questions. Our successful students communicate in a respectful way with various audiences for various reasons.

At Trousdale County Elementary School, effective teachers strive to create opportunities for intellectual risk-taking of engaged learners. Our effective teachers foster peer collaboration through problem-solving and creative thinking and promote opportunities for students to play a vital role and take ownership in learning. Our effective teachers design high quality, rigorous instruction and analyze student work, data and assessments to make data driven decisions that accelerate and graduate all students for the careers of tomorrow.

At Trousdale County Elementary School, our supportive and cooperative parents employ a partnership with our school community to ensure that our students are successful. Our parents demonstrate the support needed to provide a safety net for our students to experience cognitive dissonance while stretching and improving their academic maturity. Our supportive and cooperative parents partner with teachers to ensure that every child reaches his or her potential while being accelerated and graduated into the careers of tomorrow.
