This week, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona visited Trousdale County to learn about students’ experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic. TCHS students Zion Badru, Cynthia Esquivel, Lamont Mitchell, Zander Napier, and Piper Triplett shared the successes and challenges of learning during a pandemic as they prepare for college and future careers. Dr. Clint Satterfield, Director of Schools, Dr. Penny Schwinn, Tennessee Commissioner of Education, and Dr. Allen Pratt, Executive Director of the National Rural Education Association, also joined the conversation.
