Trousdale County Schools rank in the top 8%

For the first time ever, Trousdale County has ranked the highest ever in achievement scores.  The district ranked 3rd in 3-8 math, 3rd in Algebra I, 5th in Algebra II, 7th in English III, 8th in English II, 11th in English I and 11th in Biology.  Academic growth, reported as Tennessee Value Added Assessment System (TVAAS) shows Trousdale County has once again scored a top score of Level 5 for all three reporting categories of overall, literacy and numeracy.  K-3 increased from a Level 3 to a Level 5. Jim Satterfield Middle School increased from a Level 3 to a Level 5, which is a first in the school's history.  Trousdale County High School scored a Level 5 for the fourth consecutive year.  The district exceeded state proficiency levels in all three reported categories.
