On behalf of the Trousdale County Board of Education, our employeees, and more thatn 1,300 students, welcome to the Trousdale County Schools' website!

Our system includes three schools, including Trousdale County Elementary, Jim B. Satterfield Middle School, and Trousdale County High School. All of which have a rich tradition in providing a quality education for generations of students. We just recently moved into a new state-of-the-art high school in the Fall of 2004. Our elementary school has straight A's on the state report card for the past 2 years. Today, we are passionately moving toward academic excellence system-wide. Our vision is to create a learning environment that promotes the highest ideals needed to foster exceptional learning in preparation for student success in tomorrow's workforce.

Our school community provides an atmosphere where students and teachers share a unique closeness that is seldom found in other school systems. As we move toward academic excellence, it will be necessary for the Trousdale County community to become more involved at all levels of a child's educational experience.
