Trousdale Co Schools will cancel Parent-Teacher Conference for Thursday, March 30. All after school sports, activities, including After School Academy are also cancelled.

The JSMS baseball and softball games scheduled for today, March 17, have been postponed due to rain.
The JSMS Softball game scheduled for today against Southside has been cancelled due to weather.
At 9:25 today, a school threat was reported to the Principal at TCHS. Local police were immediately contacted, students were placed on lockdown, and an investigation into the threat was completed. Classes resumed at 11:30 when it was determined that the threat posed no danger.

PreK, Head Start, and SpEd PreK will be closed 2/16 and 2/17 for illness. All early learning programs will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The TCHS Basketball games scheduled against Macon County Friday has been cancelled; therefore, Senior Night has been moved to Thursday nights "Pink Out" game.
The January Board Meeting will be Thursday, Jan 19 at 5 p.m.
There will be no school Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

The Trousdale County Band will be having their Christmas Concert tonight at the High School in the Eleanor Ford Theater at 7 pm. All are invited to attend. The band will also be in their new uniforms as well.
The JSMS Basketball team will play Carroll Oakland at HOME on Thursday, 12/15/16.
Due to a scheduling issue, tonight's JSMS basketball game vs. Carroll Oakland has been postponed until further notice.

Congratulations to Coach Brad Waggoner from Georgia Tech University on landing his position here at Trousdale County.
The National Football Foundation jointly awarded the Roy Kramer Contribution to Football Award to Jim and Clint Satterfield. The award is presented to individuals who have been instrumental in promoting the game of football with the highest degree of leadership, integrity and participation. The Satterfields walked Trousdale County sidelines from 1955-2017, and both coach are inductees of the TSSAA Hall of Fame.

The TTU STEM mobile provides state-of-the art integrated science and math experiences for middle school students. The STEM mobile is provided each year by the Upper Cumberland Rural STEM Initiative in collaboration with the TTU Millard Oakley STEM Center.

Students from Trousdale County High Schools music program recently auditioned for the Nashville Youth Orchestra Program. Connor Belcher made the Curb Youth Symphony Orchestra. Also, Amy Hix and Caroline Guffey made the Nashville Philharmonia Orchestra, and Brenee Key made the Repertory Youth Orchestra.
Congratulations to Mary Kemp, Amber Claywell, and Sandra Taylor who have recently been selected by their peers as 2017 Teachers of the Year from their respective schools!
Students were recognized for improving the most on each benchmark. Students take quarterly benchmarks in each of the 9 tested courses in the high school.
