Presidential Youth Fitness Program presidential fitness logo

The Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP) is a comprehensive school-based program that promotes health and regular physical activity for America’s youth. This is a voluntary program that offers educators free access to a health-related assessment for youth fitness, professional development for meaningful implementation, and motivational recognition to empower students to adopt and maintain an active lifestyle.

Summer Feeding Program summer feeding

The Trousdale County Board of Education will be sponsoring an open Summer Feeding site at Jim Satterfield Middle School from June 3rd - June 28th. All youth ages 2-18 may eat a free breakfast or free lunch at the school Monday thru Friday during June.

New Books & Bites Bus begins on June 3 Books and Bites

Trousdale County Schools in conjunction with the Hartsville Rotary Club will sponsor the new Books & Bites mobile library and cafeteria.

Trousdale County Elementary will hold two opportunities for parents to register their students for PreK and Kindergarten for the upcoming 2019-20 school year.
