Lindsi Ellis named Assistant Principal at Jim Satterfield Middle School

Lindsi Ellis is a proud native of Trousdale County, where she was born and raised. A graduate of Trousdale County High School’s class of 2006, she has remained deeply committed to serving the community that shaped her.

Mrs. Ellis earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2011 with endorsements in General Education, Special Education, and Gifted Education. She later completed her Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership in 2021. For the past 14 years, she has dedicated her career to the students at Jim Satterfield Middle School, teaching in various roles across all three grade levels. Most recently, she has spent the last four years teaching ELA, where she has focused on fostering student growth and learning.

In addition to her classroom experience, Mrs. Ellis  served as principal of the district’s Summer Learning Camp last year, further developing her leadership skills and commitment to student success. She considers herself not only an educator but a lifelong learner who continuously seeks opportunities to grow professionally and better serve students, staff, and families.

Outside of her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Ellis enjoys spending time with her husband, Brock, and their three children. She is excited to begin this new chapter as Assistant Principal and looks forward to working alongside Mr. Gulley.
