Trousdale County High & Jim Satterfield Middle Receive Highest Federal School Designations for 2024-25

On November 21, the TN Department of Education released its federal school designations for the past 2024-25 school year which named both Trousdale County High and Jim Satterfield Middle Schools as Reward Schools for the third consecutive year. Both schools have achieved the Reward School (the highest designation) status since 2022.  The high school has achieved this award seven times, and the middle school has achieved this award six times since reward school status was first implemented in 2017-18. "Our exceptional work is a result of long-term intentional efforts of administrators, teachers, and students over many years. We are fortunate  to live in a community that has some of the best schools in Tennessee," stated Director of Schools Dr. Clint Satterfield.
